Our passion is helping guide new and veteran parents through their postpartum journey. We know firsthand that this time can be both incredibly rewarding and incredibly challenging, and we are dedicated to easing the transition by providing compassionate and professional support.

We are trained to anticipate the needs of parents, offering emotional support, practical guidance, and resources to help them feel confident and empowered. We are honored by the trust that parents place in us, and we take our role seriously; working tirelessly to ensure that our clients have the tools and resources they need to thrive in their new roles as parents. Whether you are a first-time parent or a veteran, we are here to support you every step of the way.

FEES:

Daytime:

08:00 - 21:00 - $35/hr

Overnight:

21:00 - 06:00 - $40/hr

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

Bringing a new baby home can be overwhelming and emotional. We offer a compassionate and non-judgemental approach, helping parents to navigate the emotional ups and downs that may arise during the postpartum period. We are here to listen to your concerns, offer guidance, and provide a safe space for you to express your feelings.

PRACTICAL SUPPORT

We are trained to assist with postpartum recovery by offering practical support with feeding, bathing, diapering, and other daily household activities. We can help you to get the rest and nourishment you need, and offer gentle exercise and relaxation techniques to support your physical wellbeing.

BREASTFEEDING SUPPORT

We will provide unbiased support no matter how you decide to nourish your baby. We can assist with latching, positioning, and troubleshooting common breastfeeding challenges. We can also provide guidance on bottle feeding. Additionally, we can help you manage your milk supply and offer emotional support during this important time.

EVIDENCE-BASED INFORMATION

We are here to offer evidence-based information and resources to help parents make informed decisions about their baby’s care and their own postpartum recovery. As doulas, we can provide education on topics such as breastfeeding, newborn care, postpartum mood disorders and self-care during the postpartum period.

RESOURCES & REFERRALS

We can connect parents with referral sources for other support services they may need. We can provide information on local lactation consultants, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers. We can also connect you with community resources, such as support groups and help you navigate the early days of parenthood.

OVERNIGHT SUPPORT

Overnight support is available upon request to ensure you are getting the rest you need in order to recover from childbirth and properly care for your newborn during the day.
