Gain the practical skills and confidence to achieve your breastfeeding goals. This hands-on workshop provides in-depth, evidence-based education on establishing a successful breastfeeding relationship, taught by Certified Breastfeeding Specialists. We will also briefly cover bottle-feeding techniques as a supportive skill for utilizing pumped milk or formula. What You Will Learn: Your Breastfeeding Toolkit Establishing the Feed: Mastering effective latch and comfortable positioning techniques for a pain-free experience. Milk Essentials: Essential guidance on colostrum collection during pregnancy, and safe storage and handling of breast milk. Assessing Success: How to recognize the signs of an effective feed to ensure your baby is getting enough milk. Troubleshooting: Practical strategies for navigating common breastfeeding challenges (e.g., engorgement, discomfort) and knowing when to seek additional help. Pumping Basics: A brief, essential intro to pumping—when and how to get started—to maintain supply or build a stash of breast milk. Briefly Covering Bottle Feeding (for Support) Paced Bottle Feeding: Learn paced bottle feeding techniques to support infant digestion and prevent overfeeding, especially when feeding pumped breast milk or formula. This helps ease the transition between breast and bottle.

Cancellation Policy
Registration and Payment: Full payment for the workshop is due within 24 hours of registration to officially secure your booking. If payment is not received within this timeframe, your reservation will be automatically released. Pricing: All workshop fees are listed on our website and are subject to GST. Cancellation and Rescheduling: Our policy allows for flexibility in scheduling, recognizing the unpredictable nature of the perinatal journey. However all workshop fees are non-refundable. If you need to cancel your reserved spot, you may transfer your registration to a future workshop date without penalty. How to Reschedule: You must notify us in writing via email to initiate the transfer process. Space Availability: Transfers are subject to availability in the future workshop of your choice. Workshop Cancellation by Perinatal Embrace Perinatal Embrace reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop due to low enrollment, instructor illness, or unforeseen circumstances. In the event of cancellation by us, you will be offered a choice of either a full refund or a transfer to the next available workshop date.
